Who we are

Freight Data Watch ("we", "us") publishes trucking market information and carrier research tools at freightdatawatch.com and app.freightdatawatch.com. This policy explains what information we collect on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

We collect information only when you choose to send it, for example through:

• the contact form (name, email address and your message);
• access or full-analysis request forms on the RFP Analyzer, Carrier Underwriting and Carrier Identity Graph pages (name, work email, company, company type and any notes you add);
• broker access keys we issue to paying customers (the email address on the account, usage counts and any webhook URL you set).

We use this information to reply to you, provide the service you asked for, send the alerts you subscribe to, and invoice for paid plans. We do not sell it.

Files you analyze

Spreadsheets you load into the RFP Analyzer are processed in your own browser and are not uploaded to our servers. We only record anonymous counts, such as how many lanes were analyzed, to understand how the tool is used.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page you came from and the pages you view. We use it to run and secure the site, limit abuse (for example, rate limits on free lookups) and count anonymous usage of our tools. Carrier lookups are logged by USDOT number and result only, without your name.

If you sign in to the Carrier Identity Graph with a broker access key, the key is stored in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. You can remove it at any time by signing out or clearing your browser data.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads on some pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Affiliate links

Public carrier data

Carrier profiles, identity links and risk reports are built from public U.S. Department of Transportation and FMCSA records. If you believe public information about your company is shown incorrectly, contact us and we will review it; corrections to the underlying government record must be made with FMCSA.

How long we keep information

We keep contact and request submissions for as long as needed to respond and maintain a business relationship. Anonymous usage events are deleted after about 13 months. You can ask us to delete information you sent us at any time.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
